REPORTING LINE: Territory Manager
1. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets for the Company’s range of EPG (Electric Power Generation) products within the assigned geographical territory.
2. MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Plan and implement sales strategies as per territory budgets.
• Obtain orders that meet or exceed agreed targets and negotiate equipment sales into high valued projects.
• Ensure that full payments are received for all units sold, while all necessary sales documents are adequately prepared.
• Arrange visits to existing and prospective customers to ensure maximum coverage of the territory.
• Aggressively promote the company’s products within the catchment area and win more prospects therefrom.
• Obtain and promptly report details of all World Bank, ADB and Governmental projects as they arise.
• Provide product related technical assistance and advice to customers and prospects.
• Obtain and communicate information relating to the market and competition as appropriate.
• Maintain good corporate reputation and effective communication between our clients/customers and Company’s management.
• Coordinate team activities to ensure targets achievement.
3. QUALIFIACTIONS
B.Sc/B. Eng./HND in Engineering.
4. EXPERIENCE
3-5 years experience in engine, construction or related industry sales as a preference
Proven track record of sales
Export experience as a preference
