EngenderHealth Tanzania was awarded a five years global project The Post abortion care Family Planning (PAC-FP) Project by the United State Agency for International Development (USAID). The project aims to document and support alternative models for delivery of post abortion care services with integration of family planning. Tanzania is one of the countries selected for implementation, and the project aims to address persistent obstacles to providing family planning counseling and services, including long-acting reversible contraception and permanent methods to post abortion care clients. The project is implemented in the Lake zone and Zanzibar. EngenderHealth is now seeking applications from highly qualified Tanzanian candidates to fill in the following positions.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in public health with 3-5 years of work experience or Registered Nurse or Clinical Officer with 7-10 years of work experience in Family Planning and Post abortion.
At least five years of professional experience in the clinical/health sector with expertise in quality improvement and training.
Proven experience in building capacity of clinical and non-clinical health providers and community-based health workers in FP/PAC integration, post-partum family planning with a focus LAPRM.
Experience with community-based health care provision and promotion.
Familiarity with MOHSW and private-public partnership structures.
Strong personal and professional commitmentFP and PAC.
Experience in FP/LARC/PM PAC and clinical training.
Demonstrated ability to lead service delivery, demand creation, and capacity building interventions.

Proven skills and experience in the integration of male involvement in health services.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with Government of Tanzania officials and local and international organizations working in health service delivery.
Ability to organize information and tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, pay attention to details, and handle a variety of responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
